The Cat in the Hat

The Cat in the Hat came to our school and read us Green Eggs and Ham.  It was so much fun.  He needed some helpers. We were with a couple of kindergarten classes.  I was very impressed with how well our students sat and listened to the story.  Here are a couple of pictures.

Lucas helped us learn we listen with our eyes, too!

Talan helped us learn we listen with our ears!!!

Keeping your mouth quiet helped us hear
the Cat in the Hat, Thanks Ethan K!!!

Bria helped us remember to keep our hands in our lap!

Owen got to dance with the Cat because it was his birthday!  Great job DANCING!!!

WE ALL LOVED THE CAT IN THE HAT!!!

Great listening everyone!

You are a wonderful listener, Jared!

Rusty was a great helper!

Jake got to pick out the winner of the book!

WHAT A WONDERFUL CLASS.  WE LOVE YOU
CAT IN THE HAT!!!

Happy Birthday OWEN!!!

Owen turned 5, and his parents got to come and eat lunch!  Hope all your birthday wishes come true, OWEN!!!

Some of my hobbies are cooking, singing, and going on walks! I love working with children and helping them learn. Being able to work with the Pre-K classes is a wonderful learning opportunity for me and has reinforced my decision to be an early childhood teacher!
